I think Sumrall was trying to do him a favor. He was very complimentary of Thompson and I think respected Thompson not quitting like Mensah or Horton. Unfortunate Thompson is awful.

I was totally fine with that for a half (or more if he was doing well). However there's 3 other quarterbacks with 1 who can likely start next season that would benefit from some live reps. Sumrall has struggled against good teams this year (don't come at me USL fans).

Wish they would move the portal or get rid of it till after the bowls. I was hoping to see Tulane in this game at full strength .
