I think State matches up pretty good against them. Their QB makes some high risk/reward passes and we made him pay for it. They couldn’t run the ball either if I remember correctly

Actually no. Jackson was great friends with Dillon amd DG knew if he stayed another year JA would have transferred.
Problem is Lebby was trying to redshirt JA and played him right up to the limit early. Then he sat all year getting no pressure game reps. Then DG got hurt and JA had to come in 2nd half and that burned his shirt.
But this is his first start and it shows. He’s not up to game speed plus has an all new oline. He is getting exactly what he needex, time vs a salty Arizona team. He’ll improve as game goes on.
Not sure why we came out pass happy though.
