Those women get crushed by guys not good enough to walk on at a D1 school in practice every day. Any player on an active D1 team would destroy any womens player

And to a lesser extent we have had guys like David freshman on our team. I think the best woman’s player in the world is better
I’m just going through LSU
A fairly unathletic men's player will still have a massive measurables advantage over any woman player. Who would you say is the best woman baller right now? And would you really try to argue only 1200 guys are better than her on the planet?

Probably, because they'd be competing against women.

I think women are horrific at sports so I don’t really want to do this
But I would like to see Fleshman on the WNBA now

Don't recall who "Tuba" is, but yes.

Tennis is physical as shite. It brings into play fast twitch muscles, and muscles for endurance and sustained output
It brings into play upper body, lower body, and conditioning as well
It also has an advantage in height
Which Serena, while an obvious outlier, in her prime had in spades over the average man. And a lot of tennis is starting young and developing the skills and coordination.
quote:
Serena is likely as good as the 1,000th-1,500th best male tennis player in the world in a single particular year
I would say the best ever soccer player in women could have been the 1,500th best soccer player in a particular year
I would say right now, the best womans basketball player could be as good as the current mens 1,256 best player
Ok, I get it, trying to make tennis look good. But this is ridiculous, there has never been a woman soccer player better than any starting player in any of the of top 50 worldwide soccer leagues which is at least 5,000 professional soccer players. For basketball the best womens basketball player of all time wouldn't make the 10 deep of any D1 school which is 3,000 just amateurs. Its not even a statistically relevant number for basketball.

Please don't. You've been on a hot streak lately and I don't want to see it come to an end

Go google LSU basketball Tuba

The only reason tennis has a lower number because less men play
It isn’t as popular
From the way the game works, I’d say tennis is still one of the hardest sports for a woman to compete with a man
To start, there is no escape. Their is no team. It’s constant 1 on 1 domination

This is where basketball is weird though
Fleshman, my other example, is 5’10” and was simply all district at a 1a school
Good little small high school player. I consider him a 1000x better basketball player than Tuba, but sure, Tuba would “dominate” him if you made him guard him

Tuba was uncoordinated as hell but what WNBA player is going to stop him from dunking on them every single play

At the height of the Williams boom in 1998, an unofficial game took place in Australia after Serena and Venus claimed that no male player outside the top 200 could beat them.Up stepped a German known as Karsten Braasch who was ranked 203rd in the world and after first beating Serena 6-1, he then disposed of Venus 6-2."I didn't know it would be that difficult. I played shots that would have been winners on the women's circuit and he got to them very easily," said Serena."They wouldn't have had a chance against anyone inside the top 500 because today I played like someone ranked 600th to keep it fun," was Braasch's assessment.
damn

Yeah, I think this guy would dominate any girl
Give him the ball on the block, and what woman in the NBA can remotely stop him from backing her down and dunking any time he wanted?
It would be a bloodbath. Based on just his height/weight and that 1 clip, I absolutely do think he'd be the GOAT WNBA player from day 1.

He talking about the big white dude that just did what 99.9% of the WNBA can't do?

Tuba is an absolute embarrassment for athleticism. Almost all of the WNBA is more athletic than him, but his size would cause huge issues
But what about David Fleshman? 5’10” and was all district at Dunham? Do we think he would have been the best player in WNBA history?
For the record this is just fun conversation. Totally not something I want to go to war over
