They might be open to selling the name. The only reason they kept it is because they maxed out all funds when they bought the team in the late 70's, and they couldn't afford the rebranding costs - they had intended to change the name.

Can’t have the Saints, but they can have the Bobcats which makes a lot more sense in Utah than Charlotte. Or otherwise come up with something that, ya know, has some relevance to their region

Utah is the Beehive State.
There are no major sports franchises named the Bees.
To me, Bees is a WAY better nickname than ‘Jazz’ in a state like Utah.

New Orleans gets Jazz back
Utah gets Raptors. Utah is full of fossils and the Utahraptor is actually an enormous raptor and is the state dinosaur of Utah.
Toronto: gets to name their team something Canadian. Which is something Canadians love to do. See: maple leafs, canucks, canadiens,
Who loses here?
Building on this:
Toronto gets the Grizzlies because they have a grizzlies
Memphis gets Kings for Elvia
Losing steam: idk anything Sacramento is know for.
Edit: frick it. Move Sacramento to Seattle and make them the SonicsZ I just fixed all the names in the NBA without creating a new one.

Or Utah Stingers, Utah Buzz, Utah Swarm. Arena could be colloquially known as “The Hive”. They should think outside the box as is common in the Association
