and in keeping with the thread, we are talking about skill position offensive guys.

Look, i readily admit that USC the best college program of the decade and would do well in the SEC. but they have had some spectacular NFL busts.

I think you are the only one focusing on skill offensive guys, though I played along and listed 5 from Florida. What makes USC so good, is how good we are at the line of scrimmage. I think that is what seperates USC from the Miami teams of the past.

Rex Grossman 1st rounder, bust
Chad jackson 2nd rounder bust
Jabbar Gaffney 2nd rounder Disappointment
Taylor Jacobs 2nd rounder bust
Andre Caldwell 2nd rounder. Still early, but looks to be a bust or at least disappointing.

SORRY BUT!!! Reggie Bush = BUST!!!!!!!!!!

solid list, but wasn't Caldwell a 3rd or 4th rounder....plus he was only a rookie last year.

and the draft slots still pale in comparison to the USC guys. If you average the draft slots there will be a huge difference.

When was the last time Florida produced a non-bust skill position player?

Fred Taylor?

You can probably add Louis Murphy -- 2nd (Raiders) to that list.

I think Harvin will be a hit; he has gotten good reviews so far.

Op focused on all offensive players not just skill guys.

Also yes I double checked, Caldwell was a 3rd rounder.

Though if we focus on success nobody can match USC over the past few years. It is just that if you get more players drafted, you are going to have more successes and more busts.

well that and Miami churned out elite NFL rbs and some stub WRs like it was going out style. Portis, Gore, McGahee, Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, etc. That is really strong.

What Miami did at the beginning of the decade was ridiculous. That is 2nd to none NFL production.

Right now you can make a competitive NFL team using nothing but USC players. Depth would be an issue. I do not think any other University can say the same.

Edit: Ohio St. may be able to do the same.

while i fully support all SC players in the NFL, i dont worry whether they turn out great or are busts. im more into CFB so as long as there great at SC thats all i care about. this is an argument i have seen on this board so many times, why do you guys care? worry about LSU players there not doing great either.
