Fire away. We're not going anywhere, unless the fans are getting banned from the MSB for 2 years also.

No, the BCS title in 2004 remains USC's. But I'd rather give that piece of shite title back and hold on to some opportunities for kids to get a free education and win Championships in the next couple of years.

The 2003 and 2004 titles don't mean shite to the poor kids who are juniors and seniors at USC now, and they had frick all to do with anything unsavory.

USC can go and hate Reggie, but Louisiana now loves him. Ohh the irony

lulz at Mitch Mustain.

About as good a decision as buying Enron stock the day before it crashed.

Let's see....

Would probably be in his 3rd season as starting QB at Arky.

Parents were bitches, so they decide to go to USC to compete with Mark Sanchez. Loses that battle along with losing the battle to be the backup.

Barkley comes in and beats him out relegating him to punting duties.

Usc gets the hammer.

Now that's a fricking bad decision.

The guys who are sophs and juniors this season can bail out and go pretty much anywhere they want.. no consequences. I'd be jumping ship. Play last 2 years for a team that can compete, etc.

We'll take some LBs off your hands, if you want. Barkley would be a nice fit at LSU too, you know?

If we could've gotten Nutt to kick Mustain in the balls 5 seconds after he heard about the USC sanctions that would've been a perfect ending to Mustain's career.

Any decent QB would be a good fit at LSU right now. FWIW, I doubt Barkley goes anywhere. As far as linebackers go, we're really not that deep right now anyway.
If I were picking and choosing from underclass talent at USC I'd start with the D-line.

I hope the Fr. and Soph's ride it out.

Send the memo out for me (transfer to LSU). I doubt Barkley goes anywhere too.. probation or not, he's got it made at USC.

I do think he goes pro asap though. Before the effects of probation are felt.

I think any QB nowadays would go pro as a junior if they're predicted to be the #1 pick out of college, or at a minimum a top 3 QB. By the time Barkley's a senior though, post season ban will be done and he might want to stick around and win a bowl game.

With the sanctions and the prospect of the death penalty should additional violations occur, I'm just wondering how all of this will affect Kiffin's ability use hookers as a means to lure in new recruits.

If you're in Southern California and you have to PAY to be in the company of beautiful women, you're either really ugly, an idiot, or both.

The ESPN article mentioned that USC's previous violation was in 2001, and being cited again for violations within five years brings up the potential for a "lack of institutional control" finding.

Doesn't this also bring up the potential for a death penalty?

Not saying the NCAA would ever have the balls to do it, but wouldn't that make 'em sweat?

Yeah, they have stated they regretted the death penalty. So they really won't do that again.
