I mean they are a good team but putting them in the top 10 is definitely a stretch.

The media so badly wants USC to be relevant again to bring the west coast back to college football

Well they've needed to be #1 in turnover margin plus 14 to win games.

They barely beat Oregon State even with 4 forced tunovers. Utah crushed Oregon State today.

USC and Texas have been gifted top 20 and 10 rankings for the last decade.

If we had a 12 team playoff, they'd be in it at this point and rightfully so.

But I feel they're going to get killed by Utah in Salt Lake City. They've needed numerous turnovers and rank almost dead last in run defense.

Who do you put above them?

There are 2 sure things with Alabama and OSU.
Georgia if you want to overlook their crap performances 2 weeks in a row.
I’m with you that they are always propped up but I can’t think of enough teams to bump them out.

Bama lost their Heisman QB for some period of time and has this coming up:
@Ark (W)
A&M
@UT
Miss St
@LSU
@Ole Miss

UGA has:
UF
UT
@Miss St
@UK

My point is there are no sure things this year. It’s been an incredibly competitive year, best just to enjoy it and see how it turns out.

The guy replacing Bamas heisman QB will probably end up being better. He’s bigger and faster. Only thing we will need to see about his accuracy. I don’t think that will be a problem though.

Dont even care

This team is 5 million percent better than the trash that has been trotted out there for a decade. SC could pretty easily end up with 3 loses and this season is still a massive success.

Milore has tons of work to do to improve as a passer. Who knows, maybe he’ll eventually be a great player but he’s pretty raw right now

It never ceases to amaze me how people think “top 10” has some intrinsic value. List your top 10 and see what teams should be ranked where

It would be a stunning Chaminade over Virginia level upset if at least 3 of Bama tOSU UGA and Clemson don’t make the playoffs

Came to post exactly something like this, and it could even be stretched to top 25 when people say “this team doesn’t deserve to be ranked” about some undefeated team midway through the year.

Who does then? Somebody has to be top 10. Look, we’ve been shown that there’s maybe a handful of really good teams this season. All of them are flawed. Bama struggled with Texas and UGA did at Mizzou, one of the worst teams in the conference, just yesterday. It happens, can’t be blowouts every week.

Typical Lincoln Riley team… great offense. Shitty defense.

AP top 25 this early doesn't mean anything, I don't know why you all take this so seriously.

You guys have cried for the past 10 years that Bama's overrated by the media. You should want USC to be relevant. That's the only way Bama gets taken down, by other teams getting press and the top recruits. It's not going to magically happen.

This x 1000. To be a top tier team they will have to shore up the other side of the ball.

USC's offense is going to give them a chance in every game they play.
