USC fans think recruiting rankings are biased

USC fans never cease to amaze me.
Aside from their attribution of the SEC
s greatness to "perception" they also credit the SEC's overall success in recruiting to bias

they should quit bitching and be thankful that they are able to benefit from being the top school in the most populated state

I'm a frequent visitor to this site and a USC fan, and I could give two shits about ESPN's recruiting rankings. I think Rivals is much better, but really, I don't care a whole lot about them either.
They are a source of entertainment and that is about it.
Year in and year out we get great recruits, but considering the sanctions we've been hit with, the job that Kiffin, Ogeron and company have done is nothing short of phenomenal.
So, no bitching here.

I have yet to see anyone on this site accuse any recruiting website as having "biased" ranking favoring a specific conference or school. Nobody here is accusing ESPN of skewing their ranking to bolster a conference or school's reputation, but these USC fans are.

They are doing well despite the sanctions; however, given that USC commands California (which has twice the population of the 2nd most populated state in U.S. being Texas) it is not suprising that they are in the top 10 recruiting rankings. In fact, one could make the argument that it would be pathetic if the top school in california does not pull in a top 10 class given the abundance of talent in their own backyard, even despite the loss of scholarships. Its a shame no other cali school can pose much of a threat when it comes to recruiting.

You nkow there is a recruiting board here, huh? Please, even LSU fans in this thread admit it. I suppose there is never any talk on The rant about how ESPN or Joe Blow sports show are biased against LSU. Get real.

and it was not aways like that, even in the hey day. Do yo think it just might be possible that it has/had anything to do with master recriters Carrol, Kif, Orgereon? Just maybe? Christ, ANY team would salivate to have Coach O. as a recruiter. If you believe otherwise, you are fooling yourself only.

In all fairness, they only think rankings favor Bama. I've never seen anyone say they are biased against us.
