It wasn't Florida that gave him heartburn, it was having to play LSU every year. It was having to beat Alabama to win the SEC.

He won't have that problem in the Big 10.

There's a better chance of Jerry Sandusky being named the next head coach at Penn State than there is of OSU getting a 4 year bowl ban

Yeah that was a pretty dumb statement. A 4 year bowl ban, wow.

Didn't OSU just end up getting a failure to monitor charge? They will be fine, it won't be anywhere near SC type sanctions

Well technically it's a step down on the football field (using that word very strictly) considering he won't be getting Florida athletes without working his recruiting arse off.

But tOSU is a Top 10 destination and they need a big time coach (like all the big time schools) to make CFB interesting.

Sucks that PSU might go in the toilet. Having PSU, tOSU, Michigan and Nebraska all clicking at the same time would be awesome.

As long as he stays away from SEC schools, more power to him in the big ten.

I'm not buying it...just another rumour at this time of the year...like Rich Rod going to Tulame.

If Urban Meyer is healthy, it would be a good hire.

However, I'm still a little bit skeptical about whether or not he'll be at 100%.

I hope the NCAA just suspends osu from any postseason this year. I don't need to watch Bollman's run 1st down, run 2nd down, go deep or QB'ing draw 3rd down anymore. Then I can focus on basketball.

The Alabama job has those things and people acted like Saban was out of his mind for taking it. It`s funny looking back at the outrage when Alabama offered $4 million a year to Saban and no one even blinks now at the idea of $6 million.

Urban Meyer will retire from OSU as soon as Saban takes the Penn St. job.
