None of these sites has a legitimate source. One will say "According to sources", then Site B will report off of Site A, Site C off of B, etc.

That would definitely make sense.

Yes I know but the original source is usually pretty accurate.

OSU/Penn St is a 3:30 kick and the Urban/Spielman/Pasch crew is usually noon games I think. I haven't listened to The Fan for Spiels' segments cuz he always says what game he's doing.

Rumor is he is bringing in LSU's OC and Fla's DC but is keeping Fickell and Vrabel on staff.

Well that does it! All of this is bullshite now. LSU is better in 2012 instead of 2011.

Here is reality guys..... IF Urban Myers is going to jump back into coaching because he could not live without it, he is not going to a has been. He left Florida because he could not stand losing when it counted. Guess what...... The past 5 BCS champions are in the SEC, and only 1 of them in the past 10 years is a Big 10 school (OSU).

Where is this rumor from...because I heard this from an Ohio State source about 2 hours ago and posted it on the previous page.

I'm just verifying that your info is separate from mine...which would give it more validity IMO.

Didn't realize that means the next 50 will also be from the SEC.

I get it, every other program not in the SEC should cancel football, the SEC should move to the NFL, its god's gift to humanity, etc etc. Heaven forbid Urban want to coach back in his home state at a school where he earned his master's degree.

Listen I honestly have no clue who LSU's OC or Fla's DC are. I'm just relaying info which appears at all levels to be credible.

You may be right. Until you said his name I had no clue who their DC was. I don't know why he'd bring in a new DC if he's retaining Fickell and Vrabel. Something's gotta give.

Seriously. I wouldn't want Urban back at UF after 2009 and 2010. Yeah, 2009... That was some god awful offense.

But hey, it's not my schools money. They want to throw it at a guy who quit twice (well, once and "coached" again), I'm all for it.

there are strong rumors that he did get busted having an affair and this did lead to family issues

That's a given, but played very little in his decision to move on. He lost his entire staff, and the two freaks of nature that could pull off his offense in the SEC, Tebow and Newton.

I think Meyer would take the Ohio St. job for one big reason. He won't have to face SEC defenses, and SEC coaching.

tOSU's offense can't get any worse. There are only 2 schools in the FBS that have worse passing stats than us...and they are service academies. That's freaking pathetic.

You are living in fairy tale land if you think Ohio State is destined to be a "has been." They'll have some penalties that might prevent them from going 12-0 and winning the Big 10 every year, but they will be competitive. Hell, Lane Kiffin has USC playing pretty well and their penalties are likely stiffer than what OSU will face. And Urban Meyer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lane Kiffin.
