Not really sure. I feel like if we got Urban we'd really just be selling our soul out for wins. I really don't like the guy, and my tune isn't going to change just because he may be our coach.

I live like 2 miles from the OSU airport (and am possibly going to move across the street from it), wish you guys would have given me more notice I would have went as a welcoming party.

He scares me a little bit, but not nearly as much as the thought of having Pelini roaming the sidelines.

Why would anyone want the shithole that Tressel left behind?

If Florida put his health in a bind, OSU for the next 5 years will kill the fella.

Yeah, who would want one of the best coaching jobs in the country with the nation's largest athletic program, top flight facilities, huge tradition, massive fanbase, etc?

Not to mention an extremely talent laden team. Tressel last recruiting class was superb and many of them have seen playing time this year. A coach would inherit Braxton Miller who at times has looked incredible as a true freshman and a very young but talented defense. The cupboard is far from dry for whoever the next coach is.

The cupboard won't do shite when they can't play bowl games for 4 years, lose scholarships, etc.

OSU is not the job it was 5 years ago homers. The one and only win against an SEC team in a bowl game in the past 100 years will be nullified. CUM and OSU probably deserve each other come to think of it.

Well you highlighted the characteristics of the university, the team itself is there for a coach to take advantage of. Barring any big NCAA penalties forthcoming a coach can hit the ground running with no rebuilding needed. Which I think people feared about in the summer with all of the turmoil.

Yeah, the team will be fine. I just did not feel the need to elaborate much, but I probably should have clarified about the on-field talent. 4LSU2 literally could not be more wrong about this. OSU will rolling again in no time at all.

We shall see. The NCAA has to take action soon over the tarnished reputation it has on the street right now with the Cam Scam, OSU debacle that Tressel turned a blind eye to, and now Penn St cluster-whatever in the hell it is. I could be all wrong, but cant see OSU escaping hard sanctions.

There's a better chance of Jerry Sandusky being named the next head coach at Penn State than there is of OSU getting a 4 year bowl ban
