What Ohio State shows is how flawed using conference title games is to determine the champion. Wisconsin has more B1G loses, including head to head vs tOSU at home but could win the conference

It wasn't 38-0 domination.
The difference between the big 10 East and the SEC West programs are the coaches and access to great players.
They both have 100+ million dollar athletic budgets and programs with 100,000 + stadiums etc.
The Big 10 East has better coaches and the SEC West has better players.
The footprint of the SEC West is the most talent dense portion of the country.
The Big 10 East poached 2 of the better coaches from the SEC in Meyer and Franklin. Plus you have Dantonio and Harbaugh The SEC West coaches are pretty meh outside of Saban.
Bert and Mullen are pretty good coaches, but they are at programs in the SEC West that don't have the resources of the top teams.

Indiana is actually close to being able to sustain a decent team.
The Big Ten East has very solid coaching.
If Maryland can lock down some recruits, they could have something with Derkin but they are losing top recruits again this year.
