Lol....agreed. And no matter how idiotic his (or any other tigger fan) next post may be, I will not respond. I more than made my point, and life is too short.

ut only in your feeble mind would the oldest, biggest, etc. equate to this mystical 'flagship' status.

Or someone who google what a flagship university is. I noticed you left out most regocnized, most popular and the best.

Of course you have higher admission standards, etc.: this is legislated, lol. And the admission standards between LSUA&M and the next tier (UL, LaTech and UNO) is not very much. Do the research....

Are admission requirements set by legislation? i don't think so.
there is a significant between a 2.5 and a 3.0. Especially over the court of 4 years.

quote:

inally, your expectations for a 'flagship' school is decent? Isn't that special. The whole point is that with all the extra money and special perks LSUA & M gets we should get much more than just a 'decent' school. We already have that with lsua & m, UL and LaTech.

ULL is not decent on a national scale. La Tech is not decent on a national scale. You want to pit LSU against the country, and then hold ULL to a Louisiana standard. LSU blows ULL out of the water in almost every conceivable way. If ULL is decent that LSU is great.

I hate the two midweek game weeks. With 2 weekend pitchers out this really stretches our staff thin. Now we have fricking Nick Zaunbrecher throwing innings.

Robichaux didn't pitch last weekend and it's up in the air whether or not he'll pitch this week so our normal midweek guys are pitching Saturday and Sunday

Just some slight tendonitis they said. I think he would probably be fine to pitch Friday but we're being extra cautious with him.
