Can't even complete 50% of passes and wants more money. Give me a fricking break

he is a shite qb, who can run
Depending on how they built the offense, they could be perfectly fine.
And when i say shite, he misses guys 20 yards open.

It really has turned it into a shitshow and less desirable to get excited about. Guess I'll just hang to hope that it won't get this bad for baseball.

Was offered more money and gave UNLV the option to match:
I don’t like what college football has become, but it’s also hard to blame the kid for capitalizing on it

Are we sure that’s what is actually going on here?
Or did the university make promises to get him there, not follow through because he’s on his final season of eligibility and he called their bluff.
His statement and the reporters statement from a “source” inside the program tell two different stories
Maybe the university lied to him and is banking on crushing him on the pr side

if this is the case then he needs to post receipts to offset the negative press

already trending nationally this morning

Maybe so, I’m just responding to what the “rumor” is about another program offering him more.
If your point is in fact the case, I still have no problems with the kid leaving due to being lied to by UNLV.

So this kid is 100% transferring to Auburn right?

UNLV should pull his scholarship

They can’t until the end of the semester

Quinn and Arch go down. Texas offers Nussmeier 3 million to finish the season.
A scenario like that is coming with a lawsuit to instantly transfer and be able to play.
It has to change. Unfettered no limitations free agency is unsustainable.
There has to be a middle ground. Take a single cent of NIL? You’re locked into that school for 2 seasons or you owe penalties. And the school is locked into you for that time.

Clay Travis summed it up best. You can't have unrestricted transfers and yearly NIL deals. All players being perpetual free agents every year is completely impossible in any sort of organized sport.
There have to be contracts and obligations on both sides

At some point the market will reset itself
Except for the fact that probably a lot of NIL boosters have money to burn and use it as a tax write off.
We’ve all been waiting for the market to reset itself as far back as Nick Saban crossing the $1 million mark when he was hired at LSU after the 1999 season. But the market never resets itself in big-time college and pro sports.

Sure they can, what makes you think they can't?

Based on this story, we found out the following this morning:
Hester is a meathead who would still play for the team and collect on the backend.
Hebert would quit on his teammates if he was getting paid half of what he may have been promised but if it was closer to 80% he may still play.
If this player was promised more money by another school and asked UNLV for more after the fact, this player's character is flawed because you didn't like the original negotiated "salary" you were to be paid. Good riddance.
If UNLV didn't make promised payments, shame on them and this is going to have major ramifications and will see other players following the same footsteps. This will be the new "OPT OUT".
