People forget LSUs defense was not that great in 19 LSU often had to outscore other teams, to make up for the poor D

People forget LSU played against Trevor Lawrence, Tua Tagovailo, Bo Nix and Jalen Hurts in 2019.

Its defense had Derek stingley, Patrick Queen and K’lavon Chaisson.

It was a very good defense. It played an all time great slate of opposing QBs.

I think that TO that Cig called on the last drive was very indicative of this.

A lot of coaches dont want to give the offense an opportunity to regroup there.

But Cig was like "if both of us have a chance to think and get ready for the next play I like our chances better than yours." and boom

People remember the defense the second half of the season as being stout. When it was needed

Very disciplined group they are.

Which shows how undisciplined most other teams actually were.

USC, Michigan and Washington should hypothetically all be in the good range

Always love when goobers claim blue bloods like USC and Michigan, loaded with talent, are laughably easy.

Washington was a 9-4 team this year with losses to tOSU, Oregon, Michigan, and inexplicably, Wisconsin.

Coach Cignetti says he does not care or even look at stars. He looks at HS transcript and can tell a lot of it’s his type student athlete. Must be present and making an effort. Plus improvement. That’s a way to build a team of players who want to be there and Will work together to improve.

People:

1. Can't take a joke and
2. Say the B1G is easy when it is clearly the best conference in the country. Had the best bowl record, which included 4 playoff wins. The SEC had 4 total wins in the bowl season, yet we will hear how the conference is so good and so deep for another entire offseason
