I could see the Warriors, but I can't imagine the NBA letting the Pistons leave Detroit, too much history.

Why would the Warriors go through the trouble of re-shaping their brand image to the old "The City" logo if they're going to LV?

Why would anyone pay $450M for an NBA franchise, much less the Warriors? Sounds like a fleecing to me.

FWIW I don't think they're going to move the team, I was just posting it for the sake of posting it.

One of the dudes who just bought the Warriors is the CEO of Mandalay Bay

the Warriors

have a large fanbase, good attendance even when losing. I would think its unlikely they move

FWIW the buyers didn't actually outbid Elison. He bid more, but the current owner chose to sell to the other group because it allowed him to retain some small interest (according to SAI).

If I remember correctly the raptors make money because they have very high ticket revenues. not attendance per se (they were 14th in attendance in 2010) LINK , but they have higher revenues from higher than average ticket prices LINK

if I had to guess which team could be moving to Vegas it would be the Kings or the Warriors

but dont rule out Minnesota or the Clippers if Serling is truly selling the team

That's silly. Las Vegas doesn't have a lake worth mentioning. I'm gonna quit reading this board and go back to listening to my Louis Armstrong Live in Utah album.

ummm...sarcasm??
