Them getting their asses whipped here is a forgone conclusion. 
I actually hope they don't come here for the regionals. It wouldn't be fair for them to play such a superior team. And I believe we deserve to play a better team than LSUAM@BR will have this year

Didn't LSU win 11-2 at UL-Lafayette last year?
ETA: Yes, they did. Was 11-0 in the 9th.

Last year UL@Laffy insisted on being called UL. Now it is Louisiana. I wonder what they will name themselves next year?

1. Basically backdooring their name change against the rules outlined by many of the state schools changing their names 10+ years ago
2. Hurts ULM and other state schools as it makes it appear like ULL is now the flagship
3. Confusing as it will be their 3rd name change in just a few years (as had been seen in multiple national new stories mixing up Louisville etc)

Nice.
As much shite I dish out to UL-L fan boys around here, they will have a great team this season. They return a young but experienced team from last year. They will finish the season with 15 to 18 loses. Make a regional, and have a good chance to make a super regional. But I don't see them going to the CWS.
Now with that said, I'm going to enjoy watching UL-L throw their ace against LSU (like they do every year) and LSU embarrass the shite out of them like they did last year. It was great watching those paper Ragin Cajun fans cry at the Tigue last season. It was epic.

Last year we pitched a kid who rarely saw a weekend on the mound. LSU used one of their weekend guys, Cody Glenn.

He wasn't when LSU pitched him, he later on became a weekend guy. The kid put in work and earned his weekend spot. You can't hold that against him. How about regionals, who UL-L started? I remember LSU shutting Lafayette down.
