I couldn't care less what they call us. But to have a weekly thread in which they bitch and complain about the name and then say that they do not care at all is a bit much.

The ULL name game has become synonymous with the school and the fans at this point.
The name game IS your identity!
Remember that episode of Seinfeld when George wanted to give himself the nickname "T-Bone", but ended up being called "CoCo". There are some similar comical elements.
Anytime, someone tries to be something they are not, being mocked and ridiculed comes with the territory.
It's a reality that ULL has created for itself.
Then ULL supporters want to try and do a little " I know you are, but what am I" type debate.
At it's roots, the whole name- game is driven by ULL's inferiority complex. You've INSISTED that you have a new identity and you've made a public spectacle of yourselves.
Suffer the consequences.
ULL you ARE DEFINED by the name game.
At least you have your much sought after attention, albeit not on the merits you'd hoped.
