DC led by college legend Jordan Ta’amu came back down 10 with less than 2 minutes left to beat Bob Stoop’s Arlington sportsball team.

the main thing they do better is, there is a chip inside the ball, so it marks where the ball is at on plays, so there is no question if a first down was made, or if they crossed the goal line. this means the refs dont have to guess where to spot the ball or just use their own bias to put the ball anywhere they want to.

but then that would eliminate a lot of ways they use to cheat teams and they need to rig games so they cant allow accurate marking of where the ball is at

its basic 2nd grade level technology yet the NFL, while making billions, absolutely refuses to use it

If you’re actually watching this garbage (I assume this post is facetious), you need a hobby or something

I watched the original USFL as a boy.

I thoroughly enjoyed both seasons of the new USFL, but I just couldn't get into XFL games.

I watched several of the week 1 games of the UFL but was out of town last weekend. I had the Arlington/DC game on while I worked this morning and only paid passing attention to it; however, I'm ready to watch the Stallions tonight.

Why?

Because it’s NOLA. Most passionate fans in the world. It’s the opposite of Atlanta in terms of fan support. Safer too!

What does ATL have to do with this?

Says the loser that is posting on a SPORTS message board about "this garbage".

Just because your primary passion, the WNBA, is out of season is no reason to be salty.

Just using it as a comparison. Probably not fair of me to do so.

I would rather see them stay out of existing NFL markets.

How does the chip know when the runner is down?

I’m guessing the system works like “normal” until there is a review, then they sync the chip to time stamps on video review, and the reviewers tell the chip when the runner was down.

When I was young we went to see the Houston Gamblers with Jim Kelly at QB.

Those games were awesome. Better than the NFL. For awhile anyway…

It’s mind blowing that none of these leagues have put a team in Columbus. In all of these start up leagues…Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati have all 3 rated in the top 10…yet they won’t put a team in Ohio. If they were smart they’d reboot the old Ohio Glory from the World League. GOAT unis!!!!
