He's fought on several main cards before--including the last fight, where he gained a considerable amount of respect with a convincing win. If he were going to get bumped down to prelims, seemed like it would have happened for the Turcios fight after Rosas' last-minute cancellation in Mexico.

Looks like Conor v Chandler is really on hold. Luke Thomas is live on youtube right now saying it's Chandler v Oliveira 2, at UFC 309. I believe that is the card in NYC with Jones v Stipe.

Dana was saying that they'll be able to do so many cool things with the Sphere. Then a reporter asked him for some specifics, and all Dana could come up with was that two people sitting right next to each other will be able to hear the broadcast in different languages--one in English, one in Spanish, etc.
I'd be surprised if this lives up to the hype, especially since I've read that the costs ballooned way beyond what they were expecting.

Sounds like the biggest thing will be people there will get to watch a movie in 5 minute snippets between matches on the giant screen.

I also thought that the octagon would be able to be in the middle of the Sphere when I first heard about it. But that's not the way the Sphere is designed.
