Hype Tran DERAILED! I still think he may be better served cutting down to 170. The last two fights he looks waaaayyyyy smaller than Craig and Deridder. Never a good thing to come into fight week 40lbs overweight.

I remember when people on this board thought Bo Nickal could beat Poatan at 185.
His loss wasn't as spectacularly bad as Rousey-Holmes, but you just know there were some killers on the roster thinking about how they could retire him Nunes-Rousey style after watching that performance.
Nickal brought all this schadenfreude on himself with his trash talk--saying that Khamzat's wrestling is trash and casting shade on Du Plessis and Whittaker, and saying that Penn State wrestling is better than Dagestani wrestling.
If he has any Olympic eligibility left, he should go back to that. Otherwise it's not even clear if he's good enough to become a ranked fighter at this point.

Damn I didn’t see the fight but yall are shitting on Bo pretty hard. Was it that bad? I bought into the hype, I’ll admit. I thought he looked impressive in all his other fights even though they were trash cans.
How trash is 315? Trying to decide if the main event is worth buying it. I don’t hate Belal’s style as much as everybody else. 2 chick fights on the main card rounded out by a 38 year old Aldo is rough. I bet they’re regretting moving burns-morales to next weekends fight night now that Alvarez backed out of the St Denis fight.

Bo is good. Bo bought into his own hype train. His whole plan to hang around and methodically work his way to being champion just reeked of naivete and child-like optimism. I think he has a lot of yes men around him.
Before you shite on him too bad, see how he responds and rebuilds. A lot can be done with his talent if he matures.
