Kings MMA has a legit striking coach. Hopefully he'll do for Shogun what he's done for RDA and Werdum.

Rafael Cordeiro.

Cordeiro has been working with shogun for ages. He used to be chute boxes main striking coach.

JDS deserves the shot because he beat Stipe. This will allow Arlovski and Stipe to fight for #1 contender and Cain to get to beat on Overeem

I think Cain wanted out of that fight.

No doubt. That takedown was a last ditch effort. He was getting destroyed on the feet and the layoff/altitude destroyed his biggest advantage which is his cardio. If Cain can get 1 or 2 fights before a rematch with Werdum I think we will see a much a more competitive fight. Especially if they fight in Vegas. That's assuming Werdum is still champ. I'd say give Cain Rothwell or Overeem next.

Cain/Overeem would be a fun fight and draw a lot of attention.

That's the fight I've been wanting to see so bad ever since Overeem came from strikeforce. If Overeem can get his stuff together he can beat anyone in the HW division and he beat Werdum pretty convincingly the last time they fought.

Miocic/Arlovski
Velasquez/Overeem
Werdum/Dos Santos
Rothwell/Hunt

This situation gives the UFC a solid lineup of heavyweight fights.

It's the fight to make. Reem's last shot at making a title run.

Cain already killed Rothwell on his way to the belt.

All great fight ideas. I'd also add in Shawn Jordan vs Roy Nelson/Cro Cop.

"Overroids", I mean Overeem, is questionable as far as performance standards go since he pissed hot (shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone). Personally, I think we will continue to see big time shake-ups in a lot of these weight divisions since the crackdown on the PEDs, steroids, etc... Most of the abusers will continue to be exposed and the top 10s will result in alot more younger fighters being propelled forward.

overeem looked like a beast in his last fight. that overeem would have destroyed cain last night.

So did JDS, but I would take Werdum over him and Overeem too right now. Werdum's striking has improved vastly since those fights.

Overeem was juiced to the gills when he "beat" Werdum in Strikeforce.

I don't buy this crap about the altitude. Cain was rusty and has pillows for fist.

If I remember, thats the fight Werdum kept laying down on his back inviting Rheem to come lay in his guard.
