since he cant knee lesnar in the head of hes down.
i just dont see how herring can knock him out in any other way

I'm telling you......Brock is going to have him on his back in a hurry. Herring is a kitten on the ground compared to Lesnar's wrestling. IMO, even standing Lesnar would have him, but why take a chance on a sure thing going to the ground?

i get what your saying and i dont see how herring could escape a takedown.

i know heath has been against erickson and kerr, but i feel brock is very different than those guys just like you do.

what im trying to get across is that i believe this guy wants brock to start off as an amateur or the very local pro events in order to pay dues. there would be a lot of hurt people if that were the case. brock just has strength of a different nature.

Yeah, a lot of Mike Tyson-esque 1 minute fights if you put Lesnar against a bunch of cans.

My prediction, he'll lose two more fights and be out of the UFC because they haven't given him an opportunity to mature in the ring.

There are tons of all-american wrestlers in the ufc like you mentioned. and all paid their dues.

How many of them have the CLEAR advantage of being his size, with his stregnth and athletic ability. You really are whining here.

There are a some all-americans or juco all-americans, hell most weren't even on that level. Lesnar was national champ, HW national champ at that. I don't think there are any other national champs besides Koscheck in the UFC.

"The estimated 600,000 buys Lesnar’s match with Mir did on pay-per-view is bigger than any boxing or MMA match has done so far this year, and among the biggest in MMA history. Even more impressive, UFC sources indicated nearly half had never purchased a UFC event before"

thats why he gets paid

no...i didn't say that. but your point is good that there isn't enough talent in the HW division for him to start off with Cain Valequezs or Jake O'Brians.

LMAO@"whining". When you throw out the "if you don't agree with me you're whining" arguement, there's nothing I can do but laugh.

you guys are really sucking this guy off. if he wasn't in the WWE, you would have NEVER heard of him. Period.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if he wasn't in the WWE you wouldn't have such a problem with him.

I'll admit that. All I'm saying he shouldn't be hyped when he hasn't done anything in the ring outside of 30 seconds with Frank Mir. But I'll also concede that when Frank Mir is getting a title shot, there isn't much in the UFC HW division. I don't know how I got attacked from making a simple observation.

I didn't necessarily disagree with you. You whined repeatedly in this thread that he hasn't paid his dues. I say so what. He is a superior physical specimen with some skill (proven in another arena of competition). Your basis is "for some reason you just don't like him". So laugh it up. Just know that you are the joke buddy.

yet when you whined repeatedly in this thread about his "superior physical specimen with some skill" (not proven in the CURRENT area of competition); it's OK? I say so what to your reasoning and I'm whining? Give me a break. You guys ask me why I don't think he should be on the main card and when I tell you, it's "whining." Is whining pointing out that you guys are so enamored with some roid abuser that you confuse NCAA Wrestling ten years ago with MMA? I bet you guys were saying he'd be the starting DT for the Vikes a few years back. You're the one kidding yourself if you think I'm the only one who thinks this.

He fought 2 guys way worse then this before MIR. To be honest Mir wasn't much more regarded then these two when he fought Lesnar. Mir just so happens to be a specialist at what looks to be Brock's Kryptonite right now. I maintain that you won't see guys who aren't incredible with the subs beating this guy. Even then they will have to survive long enough to pull one off. Mir was very close to getting the fight stopped when he pulled that off.

Luke Cummo Vs. Tamdan McCrory - I will admit I have no idea who this guy is but I can't bring myself to pick weird Luke.
Jason MacDonald Vs. Demian Maia - This one is a coin flip in my opinion.
Manny Gamburyan Vs. Rob Emerson - Hope Manny can keep that nagging shoulder injury away and kill this guy.
Kenny Florian Vs. Roger Huerta - KenFlo by unanimous.
Brock Lesnar Vs. Heath Herring - This one might not be very entertaining. Just have a weird feeling for a let down.
Georges St-Pierre Vs. Jon Fitch - How can you honestly pick against this guy?

Also, why the hell does Emerson keep getting fights? Am I the only one that thinks this guy is garbage? He did very little to impress me on TUF and has done even less since.

And to add to Lesnar's freak athleticism resume, he was given an open tryout by the Minnesotta Vikings to play defensive line. And oh yeah, he had never played football before in his life.

supposedly Lesnar ran a 4.7 forty at 295 pounds. I don't think there have been many NFL guys who have ever been able to do that.
