She’s not unskilled but if you compare her to previous ufc champs such as Ronda, Valentina, Holly Holm then yes she isn’t nearly as skilled as them considering they were at the top of their combat discipline prior to getting into mma.

Her striking isn’t great but she has good grappling and is effective. Again, in mma you don’t have to necessarily be the more skilled fighter to win. Preparation, cardio, and just having heart and toughness can win you fights. Let’s see what Kayla can do early. She better try and get Julie out of their because come rounds 3/4/5 that massive weight cut and large muscles may not be fun to carry around against someone like Julie who we know can take a beating and keep coming. She has lost 3 fights in the ufc. Nunes, de randamie, and Valentina. All 3 champs and 2 of them being goats.
