This! Starting to catch on in Arkansas. My future SIL was a Texas state champ in high school and he has a cousin that will likely be competing in the next Olympics if he keeps his head on straight. Gonna make sure all my grandkids know how to wrestle and use their hands.

Look I don’t like him but he’s just a great fighter.
I do think colby found something late in the second fight that he could beat him if a third fight happens

Am I the only one who felt like this whole beef between Masvidal and Covington was manufactured?
I get there might be some animosity because they were once friends, but all of the bad blood this week just seemed to have some degree of acting to it

Im pretty sure almost all of the UFC beefs are manufactured; except maybe Khabib and Conner due to Khabib conservative Muslim nature.

Poirier is 5'9". Gilbert Burns and Sean Brady are the shortest ranked welterweights at 5'10" and those guys are much thicker/broader than Poirier. He is average height at best for lightweight, why should move up to fight taller guys? Height and reach is the true advantage, not what you weigh prior to making a weight cut.

Dustin's height to weight ratio says he should be around 155. The fact he gains weight and walks at 190 is another story. 190 is way too big at his height and if he didn't train he'd be fat and overweight.

190 is thick for a guy that’s 5’8 or 5’9. It’s pretty incredible to cut that kind of weight in that weight range

Just heard that Masvidal just signed a 6 fight deal with ufc before the Covington bout.
Thats insane. He's 36 or 37, and has no path to a title shot ever again. But he's still a big money draw, so that means hes going to be a headliner in a bunch of gimmick matches with the likes of Connor and Nate Diaz and maybe Porier over the next couple of years.
Dana did that contract solely to keep Jorge from any competitors.
