Ok. Please tell me more about how you’ve been watching MMA since Nam so you know more about it than your average guy. I’ve been to the doctor since I was born and I’m not qualified to perform brain surgery.
It’s a different game when you actually do it and understand it, so just take my word for it, Periera isn’t getting hyped the way he is because “KiCkBoXinG aNd MMA ArE tWo difFeRenT sPorTs”. I just watched him grapple with an elite grappler/BJJ black belt for 5 minutes straight and he looked great and has a great MMA ground game. He’s everything I hoped he’d be and more. I’m just not sure why you feel the need to shite on him and his extremely impressive performance tonight because you think you’re an expert because you’ve been observing a sport that you have no first hand experience with for 30 years. Please walk into your local BJJ gym and tell all of the purple belts that you know more than them because you’ve been watching for 30 years and see how that works out for you
