Kind of suspicious that herb Dean was the ref for both fights. In once scenario the fighter was fighting back and it got stopped. The other scenario where a fighter was turtling himself and it was allowed to continued. Makes you wonder if the ufc is giving instructions to specific fights.

Dustin walks around at roughly 185 if I remember right. He said it on Rogan’s podcast. (I think that is what he said)

Does Dana not like Poirier? Right before the post fight interview, Poirier was saying something to Dana and Dana glanced and just turned his back to walk out the ring without acknowledging him. Thought it was odd.

Porier presser:

- Only surprise that he went for a guillotine there.

- knew he was going to throw a bunch of kicks

- I let him up because he had 3 fingers in my glove on the up-kicks

- his ankle was gnarly after the check, that's what I was pointing at. I'm sure he cracked his shin there.

- We're going to fight again whether it's in the ring or on the sidewalk. You don't say that kind of shite without someone coming for you. You don't tell people you're going to murder them because people can actually die in this sport.

- Everything he says is noise.

- I don't even like this shite anymore. I just like to fight and all this other shite I'm tired of.

- Not going to go right into another fight right now. Need some family time.

- I was going to beat the guy of his leg held up.

- He was still sitting in the ground saying he was going to kill me. He was putting his finger against his head like a gun. I hope they show that video.

- Conor is 1-4 in the lightweight division. He needs wins to fights for a title shot.

I’m good. Sucks that’s how it ended, Conor was for sure in danger of getting finished on the ground but anything could have happened in the 2nd after he regained his bearings. Mendes had him rocked on the ground in the first also and we know how that ended. I’m not going to pretend that he’s not declining though and I’m really not that eager to see a 4th fight, he definitely needs to fight some lesser opponents if he does come back, however due to his pride he may not want to do that. I remember he refused the cowboy fight at first because it was going to be a co-main event.

As a fan of Conor and UFC it really sucks to see the end of his era. He made the ufc so exciting and as much as people hate him they’re going to realize how boring it is without him once he’s gone for good. I just hope he still has a few more years and is able to notch another win or 2. Chuck Liddell was who got me into ufc as a teen and it absolutely sucked how he went out, so I definitely don’t want Conor to over stay his welcome and end up like him. Conor has a million reasons to hang it up but I believe he truly does love to fight and will stick around awhile longer.

Also, not understanding the hate for the card. Yes the main and co-main were underwhelming but every single fight on the rest of the card absolutely delivered. Tons of finishes

Finally have a sat night off and away from the ole lady next Saturday to watch the fights with the fellas and of course it’s a dud of a free card. Holloway vs Rodríguez was scrapped for Makhachev and Moises which mak should easily win and the rest is a bunch of no namers :(

cant even remember seeing a guy get hit anywhere close to that much and keep moving forward the entire fight…….. a rocky movie maybe, but not a real fight. Yeah props to moutinho, but that stoppage does not warrant the outrage we've seen

WRONG.

that stoppage was a complete JOKE because the UFC brought that amateur kid in to be a tomato can to their O'Malley hype machine, and it backfired. he didn't bow down.

Get real.

It was only going to get worse for Conor. His ankle snapping was the best case scenario for him.

He took a ufc record number of shots for a 3 round fight. Almost all of them he walked right into. He basically had no chance of winning that fight and I actually agreed with O’mally saying the stoppage might have added a couple years to this guys life one day with the cumulative damage he had taken. But you are right in that he was not hurt enough at that exact moment to stop it. You have to look at the cumulative.

Meh, The he Suga fight was one of the most fun fights I’ve seen. The Aussie gained a TON of new fans tonight. He was awesome.

UFC is in great shape star wise. Will there be another conor? no way, but fighters will step up and fill the void.

That kid for sure may have brain damage. I hope we get a glimpse at his face tomorrow. That fight should not have been scheduled

I’ll be watching no matter what and I’m sure there’s going to be guys that come up that make it fun. Covington is one of them. I’m sure there will also be a lot of pretenders that will try to be the next Conor but will end up being corny or won’t have the talent to back it up. The electricity that Conor generates for every single one of his fights is something that will be tough to match. I legit am hyped as frick all week when it comes, similar to BAMA week during football season lol.

Does Dana not like money you're asking? What is a bigger draw little bitch from podunk louisiana or the biggest star the UFC has ever had? poirier acting like he broke Mcgregor's ankle goes against the narrative and the rematch hype that Dana already said would happen

if dana wants to pick the winners he needs to start a wrestling organization.

Nah. Just pick the right matchups. For instance, maybe he can find the old man at the bar that was the last person Conor was able to KO. He can prolly still beat him

I like Porier. But trying the pound his own chest over a leg kick check is hilarious.

Plus, the leg obviously didn't break on a gd kick check.
