Is he tho? I mean he’s the same guy who “didn’t want to claim it that way” right??

If the results were reversed, is McGregor giving Poirier a third fight or is he running off with a win in the second fight?
He didn't want to claim it that way, but he still gets the title

This is really one of the craziest nights in Vegas in many years. These fights, next door Bruno Mars is playing, across the interstate Garth Brooks is having the first major event in the Raider’s new stadium, Chappelle is performing and Drake and Bieber are at Resorts World I believe. Lots of buzz
If I wasn’t working this weekend, I was gonna go out there for some of those events. Super jealous , I’m sure it’s electric

Why would he need to? At that point conor would had been 2-0.

Aljo is not a legit champion in my eyes.
Technically maybe, but everyone knows he didn't win the belt. Not his fault, but he didn't contribute anything to winning that belt.

If the results were reversed, meaning they are still 1-1

Yes, he is. All of that other stuff is irrelevant, he is the champion.

absolutely not. just look at the huge money fights with Nate Diaz for proof.... Conor barely squeaked out a close decision win (2 judges vs 1) in the second fight with Diaz and ran as far away from Diaz after that

That fight doesn't go the distance bet was free money right there. Wish I woulda went in heavier...think it went off at like -170
I got under 2.5 rounds at -135

O'Malley
Kunitskaya
Hardy (doubt it happens but I think he lands that KO punch)
Burns
Poirier

That's true. Any press conference or interview after his loss, he whined this bout into existence, he's just lucky Poirier is the kind of guy he is.
I also loved the "I overlooked the fight" comment

He won by getting “‘knocked out”’ in heavy quotes. He didn’t win anything
Posted on 7/10/21 at 7:59 pm to JG77056
This should be a slobber knocker
Posted on 7/10/21 at 7:59 pm to Saint Alfonzo
Well I guess since it's irrelevant how he beat petr, you're picking him to win the rematch right? Nothing is irrelevant in combat sports.

Well yeah she’s naturally a 115

With a clearly obvious illegal knee

As he should have. He gets nothing from beating Diaz. Diaz is a journeyman and has a head like a brick. Plus if you beat Diaz he still wins ask Leon Edwards.

Not even a question. Very illegal. I could’ve been caught by the same illegal knee, should that make me a UFC champion?

No way, Yan is gonna whip his arse. He was an idiot giving it away like he did the first time. It's his own fault he lost the belt.

O'Malley
really hoping that the random, amateur fighter / paint factory worker / tomato can that Dana pulled out of nowhere can pull off the upset tonight against the O'Malley hype machine.
absolutely cannot stand fighters like O'Malley who cut absurd amounts of weight to fight smaller guys. it's normal to cut 10-20lbs, but O'Malley is six feet tall, walks around at 175-180lbs, and cuts all the way down to 135lbs like a pussy.
just look at him at the weigh ins yesterday. dude looked like a skeleton.
