overrated because they choose to cut an absolutely absurd amount of weight
Nah...khabib can beat the top 3 at 170 and vegas would give him advantage.
He probably beats Adesanya simply because of the crazy mismatch in styles

he's almost 6ft tall and cutting almost double the average amount of weight that fighters cut so that he can fight 135lb, tiny fighters.
he should be fighting at welterweight (170) or lightweight (155), but chooses to cut 40+lbs all the way down to the little guys at 135.
Max cuts down from 180 to 145
Suga vs Cody would be fun but that’s a huge jump in competition for him
Cody can easily mop the floor with him

That's probably true, Suga is as talented on his feet as Cody though...but yeah, Garbrandt ain't stupid, attack the legs and shoot here and there, and Cody outscores him...
Another question...Suga can test a chin and although Cody's was hit by a testosterone laced hook, does Suga hit hard enough to get Cody's legs wobbly? Maybe...
Probably a +250... Cody over Suga

Must have missed O’Malley getting dropped.

Accidentally downvoted you. I don’t remember him getting dropped either. I saw him fall/trip once or twice. I wouldn’t call that a knockdown.

I think injuries are O’Malley’s biggest limiting factor. I’d like to see him get in the PI to see if they can mitigate some of those issues.

Anyone else hearing some major fighters are being shelved over money?
Posted on 3/28/21 at 1:42 pm to Loaner1231
No link, conversational. I know many posters here have ties to big camps.

So what have you heard?
Posted on 3/28/21 at 1:50 pm to Saint Alfonzo
Exactly that. I asked about a specific fighter’s next fight and was unapologetically told he had been shelved. When I remarked that it’s probably happening to others as well, the person telling me just smiled. Wondering if it’s specific to this fighter or across the board.

Just rewatched the main event and my God those shots after Ngannou stuffed the takedown in the first round were HEAVY. Stipe has a hell of a chin

Spee Cific, huh? Never seen any of his fights. Could you be more, well, you know.

It was beautiful. His progress is amazing.

You have seen plenty of his fights, we have discussed him in here regularly. Sorry I can’t be more specific. (I have purposely never talked about this fighter on this board, and I have friends in a few camps, no need to try to figure it out.)

You said something, something, conversational. I guess having one in here was not in your cards. Go fish.

You look like a better fisherman to me. This specific mma chat often discusses issues that haven’t made the press. Sorry if you got your feelings hurt.

Who said anything about feelings being hurt? You came in here fishing for information instead of sharing what you've heard. Just say what you've heard instead of playing coy on unsubstantiated rumor mill bullshite. Are you the press? If not, you have no obligation to withhold information.

Actually, I asked if anyone had heard anything similar. You commented on a question for which you obviously have no information. Ignore the question and move on like everyone else that has no input, or be sassy. Your choice.

You edited one of your posts to say this:

If you have insider information but don't really want to talk about it, then don't come here fishing for information. Speak on it or stfu.
