I’d love to see a Grand Prix tournament for the vacant belt. Come on Dana.

A real shame that he retired to an empty arena.

That deserved a full crowd cheering him off.

Dude said no more in "UFC" doesn't necessarily mean he's done with mma. I could see him staying in Russia and fighting there or fighting some huge Saudi PPVs.

Good luck getting out of that ufc contract

Winner of Conor Poirer will most likely get next title shot versus Gaethje IMO. But i would to see a Grand Prix as well

Gaethje
Connor
Poirier
Chandler
Tony
Hooker
Oliveira
Fielder

Why would gaethje get a shot? He just got dominated.

Terrible showing by Justin. Dude couldn’t handle the moment. He looked winded halfway they the first

I have to disagree. Khabib is on another level but Gaethje actually was effective. Much more than most. The only way to beat Khabib is to stop the takedowns. Khabib’s striking is much better than most give him credit for but Justin was hurting Khabib’s leg with those kicks. If Justin could’ve repeated the 1st round by stuffing the takedowns until the last 30 seconds or so, Justin probably wins. But that’s just my opinion,

Justin was catching Khabib with a few shots and Khabib wouldn’t have been able to take many more of those kicks to the legs.

With that said, it would have taken take a miracle to keep stuffing Khabib’s takedowns for 5 rounds. He is just so ridiculously strong.

Would’ve loved to see these 2 run it back one more time.

Really takes away the luster of putting the belt on the line immediately and gives more credence to the 4 man tourney for it

He landed a few shots but he was gassed halfway thru the first round with no grappling. Al iaquinta went 5 rounds on a days notice with khabib. Gaethje is a beast but something wasn’t right with him.
