meh. im rooting my arse of for Gaethje but hes going to get rag dolled like all the other strikers khabib has faced. Hope i am wrong

I learned my lesson with GSP. I bought every single one of his fights back in the day hoping to see him lose thinking “this is the guy to do it” and it never happened. I stopped thinking khabib could lose after the Conor fight lol. Both just to technically sound

As I thought Gaethje has absolutely no grappling defense. People kept talking about his takedown defense but the real issue was always going to be grappling defense he got mounted instantly both times

I’d like to see khabib compete in combat sambo again or in adcc

Thats why the Ferguson fight was always so intriguing. He could stand up and try to slice and dice him, but his Jiu Jitsu is off the charts.

That’s exactly how I feel about khabib, and why I posted my rag doll comment early in the thread. I bet against gsp once after the knockout, but never again.

Tony has to be seething on the brink of insanity.

He cut weight twice in a month after prepping for 5 months for Khabib then had to get in the ring with a complete opposite brawler on 2 weeks notice and Is now kind of out of the fray in the division it seems.

I could see UFC pitting Connor and Gaethje for the vacated title now and Tony still looking in from the outside and then being too old to really make a difference when he finally does get a title shot in 2 yrs.

I don't see how Ferguson can beat Khabib. Khabib is not only 29-0, but he's never been knocked down or cut in his entire career.

Khabib’s a damn animal. Fear of the takedown and fear what he does when he does get the takedown turns strikers hands into lead. Scared to throw. Only a flash ko or a grappler will beat that man and right now one doesn’t exist that has the juice.

Usman v. Khabib or Khabib v. GSP are the only fights that really could have a chance of being a good fight. If he gets in the ring with a striker it's basically over.

Was at 229 and that was electric. It's a great environment but there's too many people that think every single punch and kick lands
