He was good, then Shogun knocked him out in their rematch and he was never quite the same. Then he was embarrassed by Bones, but so would have anybody else been at that point in Bones career. Still had his killer instinct. I just always thought Machida was overrated and shouldn’t have got the bones or Weidman title bouts and thought he lost to Shogun their first title fight
