I felt like round two was close but Joanna took it.

I still feel like if they would have given Joanna the belt I’d have agreed.

Honestly, I’d have had no problem seeing a draw either. I think technically Joanna had a better strike rate and variety of strikes, as well as damage done.

Weili had bad damage from round two on. I will admit that Joanna having that giant hematoma was crazy. I was surprised they didn’t lancet that thing and drain it right there in the ring after the fight was over.

Apparently Ortega and Korean Zombie got into it. That's random

I can't stand watching Romero "fight". All he does is feint and wave his arms around with an occasional huge overhand mollywhopper thrown in to keep his opponent from engaging. I think he fights like that because he doesn't have much of a gas tank.

The speech after the fight was rich. Dude averaged 6 punches a round and wants to preach about giving the paying fans a fight

Am I the only once that thought Joanna did enough to win that fight? I thought she dominated 3.5 rounds of that fight.

One of my top 5 fights of all time

I did too but it's incredibly difficult to win a championship by decision unless you totally dominate. If it's close you got no shot. Even though Romero didn't do much he won 3 rounds. The judges have rd 5 to adesanya just because Romero didn't do that much.

What do they normally do for a hematoma that size and in that location?
