I like Poirier but I am not sure he can handle what max has been handing out lately. never know though.

Max will hurt him that is all. I can't expect anything less. I'm not sure who currently can stand for 5 rounds with Holloway and out strike him. His accuracy and pride are a scary combination along with his hands. I'd love to see him KO Mcgregor sometime in the near future.

I'm actually in Atlanta this weekend but I just don't have any interest in going.
In other news, Lodune Sincaid died. He was on the original season of TUF.

What's everyone's thoughts on gastellum vs stylebender? I am real surprised so many pundits are picking stylebender over gastellum.

I think style bender will out strike him and KG will get desperate for a takedown.

However we’ve never seen IA on his back. This could end up being a frances vs stipe deal where someone gets exposed on the biggest stage.

I’m pulling for KG but I feel IA wins via UD

Sad to see Dustin not getting any love on here. He is a local guy that reps Louisiana hard core and is really a decent guy. Also Dustin’s jiujitsu is high level.

I think it is going to be great fight, similar to the last few Dustin fights, close but with Dustin coming out on top.

No one is hating on him or anything

But he’s facing the blessed express

A much different Max from their first fight

And Max is bigger

We have seen Dustin get knocked out. Max has never been knocked out. That's the difference IMHO.

I think Poirier is universally respected among mma fans. Dude is a great fighter. He has a chance to prove everyone wrong in this one. Let's see what happens. I like both guys so just hope and pretty much know it's gonna be a great fight.
