"Brian Ortega officially off UFC 226 fight card; Ngannou vs. Lewis moved to co-main event
Ortega’s coach, Rener Gracie, previously told MMA Fighting that Ortega would only consider staying on the card if there was a title on the line. Gracie later confirmed Ortega will not fight at the event....The bout featuring Paul Felder and Mike Perry will move to the main card."
I guess this means they couldn't line up a replacement fight. Good that Ortega was willing to stay if the title was on the line.
Big question I have is how did Max get this apparent concussion so close to the fight? Must have been in his last sparring session, I guess.

Frankie wanted to fight this weekend but couldn't, out for next two weeks. Got a stem cell shot in his shoulder according to mark Henry. Wouldn't have been cleared by medical staff.

People have been commenting on how bad the UFC audio is at their pressers for years. Guess it's just sloppy all the way around.

That is unbelievable. If Cormier would have gotten hurt bad there and they had to cancel that fight they probably would have had to cancel the ppv. No way you could recover losing the co main and main event.

Paulo Costa getting accusations of being on the gear. I think he's just one of those freaks with super model / super athlete type genetics. Apparently chicks throw themselves at him and he's already in the top 10 after 3 fights. He's probably going to be a force at the top of the rankings pretty soon.

For anyone wishing to watch the TUF Finale fights with Adesanya v Tavares as the main event, it all starts at 8pm EST on FS1, tonight, unless you have Fight Pass, and those fights will begin at 7pm EST.
On the prelims there are three fights pairing TUF27 contestants and the last prelim is Ostovich v De La Rosa. Both of those chicks look pretty good. Main card starts 10pm EST.
