He didn't do anything with the takedown but advance position until robbie stood up. Lawler did 100x more damage in the first 25 seconds.

he really put it all together in the second round. Lawler is a tough matchup and he had no answer for Cerrone round 2.
of course he took the round off to save up for round 3 which didnt help
