He needs to defend his title at least a couple of times like BJ did before moving up anyhow.

Both losing champs humble in defeat, making no excuses. Refreshing.

Miesha humble in victory as expected.

Diaz borderline retarded but would want him on my side if shite went down. Actually, I find Diaz compelling and hes far from stupid. Just has his mouth messed up from taking way too many punches.

I'm glad Conor called out Aldo for acting like Hughes did after Serra beat GSP.

Conor - "I feel like he won because he had the superior energy"
Nate - "I won because I'm the superior boxer and superior martial artist"

I forgot about Anik saying he'd get a 209 tattoo on his arm if Nate won.

Yep and its all true.

Nate calling out Dana in a not so subtle fashion throughout that presser. I like it. Dana should probably run with it.

ya Stockton is known for producing geniuses

Apparently he is pretty smart and Stockton has produced many great people, I work with one who picked onions and other vegetables and ended up a complete success. Very tenacious individual. And my brother knows Nate Diaz since he works for the Louisiana boxing commission as the ring doctor, he's a salty, smart and honest kid who came up from nothing.

and still has less wins

Once again, REAL fighters don't care about this. And it speaks again to Nate's point, an honest assessment, that he trains with the most elite martial arts guys where MMA took root in the United States. That would be NorCal and other parts of the NW. One learns so much from 10 losses against mostly all UFC top 20 guys. Conor got his wins in a promotion on an island, not California.

Not retarded at all, made fools of a lot of people. He just isn't a rehearsed sellout. I've often wondered if there were no time limits in MMA? I think Diaz bros would have even less losses. Almost impossible to knock out at 155 and Nick at 170.

The people in here downplaying the Diaz win either just started watching MMA the last few years and never seen him or his brother fight or are just lying to themselves to make Connor still look untouchable.

Nate banked at least $600k in disclosed winnings tonight.

How much prison time does he do for not paying the taxes on it?

Crazy arse event. Holm/Tate was awesome and went the exact way I thought it would. McGregor losing to Diaz while a little sad over it Diaz earned it. He took shots early and got better as the fight went on. I would probably be more bummed had some of the posters in this thread not educated me on Diaz weeks ago.

Props to all 4 fighters.

No. I know people who have hung out with both Diaz brothers on regular occasion, and know them to be the dumbest people they have ever met.
