i guess kenny is leading...

nah. pretty good fight by the champ, he did what he had to do to win. He's still young and has a lot to improve on, but he did well to beat the older/more experienced veteran.
who can challenge Aldo for his belt now? will it take a LW guy dropping down in weight to give him a run?

damnit, missed the 1st round. Sounds like it was a replay from their last 1st round

gray beat him the frick up, didnt come close to gassing out though. edgar's nose is broken
Posted on 10/8/11 at 10:24 pm to DBG
so was the first round a 9-7 round? or is it tied up 1-1 going into the 3rd round?
Posted on 10/8/11 at 10:25 pm to UFownstSECsince1950
1st rd was easily 10-8 for Maynard

this will be hilarious if it ends in another draw. Gray will still be undefeated in the UFC....and still not have the belt. Franky will have fought Gray 3 times, never beaten him once, and still have the belt. Gray will bounce back to 3-6th in line for another title shot

holy shite....Frankie

haha, so much for my theory.
Edgar looked so surprised he actually finished a fight....almost like he couldn't believe it.

Gary Maynard is a worthless pussy. That a-hole had that weasel beat and let him back in, again. Had that been anyone else, Edgar would be getting his face rearranged by the doctors at the hospital.

Maynard and Kenflo snake bit choke artist in the big fights. Both did what they were supposed to in the first round and then abandoned and sucked after that.

So.Melvin leaves Jackson's and immediately gets choked out. Awesome

Just got to the hotel. Melvin was so hype to be fighting in Houston, that it made him unfocused. He seemed more concerned where he was fighting, than who he was fighting. The loss of focus and the underestimating of Lauzon led to his defeat.

So just about every fight goes to a decision and Edgar/Maynard are nor involved? Stunning
Posted on 10/8/11 at 11:20 pm to SmackDaniels
When the frick did Melvin leave Jackson's camp?

Melvin is still with Jacksons. They were together all weekend. However, look for him to possibly switch full time to Rashad Evens and Mike Van Arsdales team in Florida.

Ok maybe I'm wrong because I know he has been training with Rashad so I just assumed he left
