This guy was once a dominant fighter? He got dominated by a much smaller fighter. Hmmmm.

Are you trying to suggest he took PEDs?

I'm suggesting he is done as a dominant fighter and now an over-the-hill/has-been.

Unless he decides to really train hard for a fight. He was fat as shite for this fight.

i think frankie will have prepared enough to not let gray do it again

I didn't think that he would be able to do it to Kenflo, as he is such a solid all around fighter, but he did.

No doubt..... And I will certainly be rooting for him to do it again.

WHATDOINO has been somewhat cordial and if yall want I'll invtie him back.

To PBT, I eat much crow on BJ Penn.

"alot of fighters say 'I trained hard for this fight' but I rested hard for this fight" - BJ Penn

Edgar over Penn

Maynard over Edgar

Penn over Maynard

Edgar over Penn...

Match ups bro. I saw in the first fight that Edgar was quicker then B.J. and that Penn could not excecute what he normally does in most fights against Edgar. All B.J. could really do is stand there and get outpointed. With Penn having less confidence coming into the second fight and Edgar having more, I felt good about Frankie. The thing that really surprised me was how Edgar got B.J. down and when B.J. took him down how he reversed it.

Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard might be the first match free on Spike TV for a title fight.

This is disastrous for the lightweight division. Edgar has gone to a decision 9 times in his past 11 fights.

Well at least Maynard will bring some excitement to the title bout. Over 80% of his fights go to the judges.

When in the fck did Frankie become this great boxer? That's what I have been in denial about.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that as a main with a very good semi main because Dana has to know that main event is horrible.

Yea no way this could be a main event. Maybe the Sonnen vs. Silva matchup for Main event and the co-main Edgar vs. Maynard for Co-Main.

Last nights card sucked btw...Maia vs. Amilcar was sadly the best fight on the card.

Eh... Lauzon vs. Ruediger was entertaining.

Diaz vs Davis was the best fight.

Good call on Toney catching Couture btw...I just had to give u crap about that.

You're probably right but man Davis looked AWFUL last night. Davis and Delagrotte(sp) said Davis's camp went perfect. Might be time for him to retire. WAY to much scar tissue on his face. If you breathe on him he cuts.

SIDE NOTE: The MSB would be top to bottom right now with threads on how MMA sucks if Toney would have landed a flash KO.

Notice not a peep outside of this one that Couture won.
