At the end of the fight, Silva looked like he could have gone clubbing without showering; Sonnen looked like a lower-tier ECW wrestler despite hitting Silva 5 times more.

ly anderson's elbows have razor blades in them...that's really all he hit him with was elbows from the bottom. It wasn't the shot while they were standing up. I think Silva was just getting them in really tight from the guard. I think Sonnen looked a lot worse than the damage that was actually done I think.

Sorry if it's been covered, but why didn't Sonnen run around the ring that last round? He clearly won the first 4 round. Did that not go with his, "I'm going to take the fight to Silva and retire him," motto?

IMO after the way Chael looked the first 4 rounds, he was safer taking Silva down again. If he stands with Silva and just plays it safe, he is still in there with the guy with the best rep for standup in the game. I would have done the same as he did.

Two Strikeforce fights for the next two weekends in a row. This weekend Joe Riggs is headlining with some women's tourney then Strikeforce: Houston with King Mo headlining.

Of course Bobby Lashley is fighting some Can. My god how long can they baby this guy along?

The disparity of talent in the heavyweight division is greater than any other, he's still extremely raw, and from what I've seen, he just isn't very good.

For those of you that I asked who I should bet on, I ended up betting 200 with one of my bouncers on Silva, and told him how stupid he was after we made the bet. While we were at work he got a text from his girlfriend saying he just won, so he made sure to immediately run over to me and rub it in my face, like the cocksucker he is, for the rest of the night. As soon as we got off, we all went watch the replay at his house and as soon as Sonnen tapped we all started jumping up and down and pointing and laughing at him....then I took my money back and 200 of his.

I'm sure that was an interesting conversation he had with her afterwards.

LOL @ all of you with your behind the scenes knowledge. I guarantee if he put that act on again, he would have gotten cut. He ridicules the sport and the company with those antics. You better believe Dana drew a line in the sand.

if dana cuts a champion for dominating his division so badly, i think the owners of UFC would have a sit down with dana

u obviously haven't seen his fights so we're done. for someone who thinks he's an expert on everything, u really need to watch more mma before forming your "expert" opinions.

i have

he dominated his opponent and took minimal risk in securing victory, something his opponent saturday night should follow next time he's up 4 rounds to fricking 0 in a fight

don't hate on anderson for fighting smart

it's essentially the same thing
