About as many times as I've said it probably.

Knowing his pension for hyperbole they will probably grow to 8XL by the 3rd round.

The UFC in general is like that. They had Carwin's height on the official website as 6'5" and now it's listed as 6'2"

No way that dude is 265 and cut at 6-0

I would say he's a legit 6'2"

My thoughts

1. Standup - Carwin

2. Wrestling -Brock

3. Cardio - I can't think of an out of shape Greg Jackson fighter...Carwin

4. Submission - Neither

5. X-factor - Carwin. He's been more active.

I am leaning slightly toward Brock right now since I think the fight gets to the ground quickly and this is the only category I see Brock having a real advantage in. I may change my mind come fight time though. Just too close to really call.

I agree but I pray Carwin wins

I just hope Carwin knocks him out cold.

There are only two ways I see this fight ending, 1) a lay and pray/ ground and pound 5 rounder for Lesnar or 2) a knockout shot from Carwin.

A year ago, I'd say the odds of either happening was 50/50. Now with Brock's strange illness issue, I think the meter swings in Carwin's favor 60/40. Brock's standup is weak, imo. He may have power, but he looks unconformable as can be standing and punching. Unless Lesnar can find a way to pound him out in the first round or two, I think Carwin will eventually catch him and knock him out. Carwin is on a hot KO streak, and Lesnar is coming off of a major illness.

It will be interesting who is moving forward in the fight (usually a decent advantage unless you are fighting a great counter striker like Liddel used to be).

I always thought Fedor had an advantage in that he was ALWAYS moving forward. No matter who he fought. I think that was the determining factor in the Cro Cop fight back in 2005. Cro Cop was always backing up. So far, Lesnar has easily plowed forward giving him an advantage against whoever he was facing. He won't be able to do that if Carwin does not let him.

i'm sure Carwin's bottom game is shite other than being able to quickly get back to his feet. I don't see 5 rounds of LNP being possible. Lesnar on top is an animal regardless of how unrefined he looks.

right.

Lesnar has never been a LNP guy at all, and he won't start now. It's not sharp or precise, but he just mauls you like a bear....and it works.

If Lesnar can take Carwin down the fight will be over quickly. No one can withstand that amount of punishment.

Carwin will be looking for Brock to take him down, so hopefully he can sprawl some or even place some nice punches and kicks to slow the take down attempts.

I hope we can see what type of chin Lesnar has because as of right now no one knows.

Lesnar couldn't finish Herring once he broke his orbital socket right off the bat in their fight though Herring is a huge veteran and Carwin is not.

Also it's not like Lesnar has had a ton of experience since then.

It's a safe bet that Carwin won't pull a sub from the bottom.

But I'm not sure he can't scramble quickly to his feet.

I agree though if he is under Lesnar for any stretch of time the fight is over.

That said, let's not assume Carwin can't/won't take Lesnar down. I'm pretty certain Lesnar's bottom game is equally shite.

I know it doesn't happen often but I was agreeing with you. At least on some parts.

BTW, you need to fix the trigger on the middle car wash. When you try to open it all the way up it trips.

Just read that. He fits a Randall "Tex" Cobb character well
