There isn’t. This happens every single week. Public sees point spread and are all over it bc of XYZ reasons other team sucks.. then the sharps come in Friday and make their play on it.

I get that theory for sure. Basically it puts more weight on original prediction rather than most recent data points. And yes, I think I will put more down. Put 3.5u on UF already. Thinking another 3.5

The closing line was 15, they won by 14. I don’t always consider that an ATS loss when doing research.

I’ve won a lot of money just following Wayne Allyn Root’s theories on NFL, CFB, and NFL playoffs. Been betting on football for 19 years. Learned the hard way by taking point spreads exactly like this. That’s when I started studying the shite.
I put my own 75% chance of covering the spread. If I was still betting I would put 5 unit play on A&M. UF is a sucker bet. Even if they lose, A&M is still the right play. There’s a reason Vegas and everyone else moved the line 1.5 points. Big money.

I always thought Florida was going to be a title contender coming into the year. Sucker bet means nothing to me. Vegas's goal is to guarantee they win money so they want the money roughly 50-50 on each team. As stats oriented as the spreads are, they are risk avoiding. Give me the team with title hopes vs a team who barely handled Vanda.

Maybe Vegas assumed weather issues? Would make sense because that usually favors more run based teams. Other than that..I really do not get what they see. Worries me but is what it is. I have faith in Trask to perform enough to put us in position to win.

Texas A&M has enough offense to score on Florida. I know Pitts is great, but there's something that seems fluky about Florida's offense. I don't totally trust Trask.
