Without looking at active rosters, I have no clue. But is he currently the only active NBA player who played college basketball in the 1990s and played in the NBA the same time as Michael Jordan?

What a career he has had. No all star appearances, but has been a great asset to the Heat organization. Hopefully they retire his number when he retires at 50.

Easily. After Vince retired Haslem is the last one left. Though he’s more of a player-coach than anything. He gets 0 run

Why do you think the heat have kept him on with how old he is and playing so little?

He’s the all-time franchise leader for rebounds. He was a key rotation player for years and is a great example for the young players. OG is awesome.

Most Heat fans would say Haslem is their all time favorite player. Over Wade, or anyone else.

Nope. He was a key part of our 2000 Final Four team.

I played against him in an AAU tournament circa 1996-97. Dude was terrifying. He almost brought the goal down four or five times.

MJ’s last season was 02-03. Haslem’s rookie year was 03-04 (same as Lebron, Carmelo, Bosh and Wade).

He's good for a couple of left hooks if the benches clear.

They will 1000% retire his number. He has clearance from Pat Riley to remain on the active roster until he doesn’t want to be anymore.

Probably the most respected vet in the league.
