Didn't see this mentioned anywhere on the first page of MSB ..somehow this got missed???

Dude posed as a ref, ran on the field, blew the play dead..then ran away and streaked..then a huge fight breaks out between the UCLA and AZ players that cleared both benches
What a strange strange night in AZ..Probably the best thing to happen to ESPN Thursday CFB games in a while ...

Streaker poses as REF...then Bench Clearing Brawl Ensues

EDIT: sorry..didn't see there was an actual "in-game" thread a few threads below..

But I'll leave this up in case anyone who missed it wants to see the video

It was funny.
Streaker runs up to real ref and asks for the ball, turns around and streaks nekkid across the field.

It was kinda funny to watch only because it took the real refs a second to realize that this guy wasn't one of them.

ETA: BTW this all happened with 4 seconds left on the clock in the 1st half

They are not the worst program in college football

Had they won last night they would have been 4-2 and 3-0 in conference and in first place in the PAC 12 south

Wow, didnt see this, I changed the tv when it got to like 35-7 or something.

first off - that was freaking awesome on the kids part. One of the best all time. I mean really, if the ref would have tossed him the ball it would have set it over the top.

secondly - the fighting = idiots. I dont mind the fake brawl but the Zona players cheering on the crowd and jumping up and down is ignorant. I know they have been getting their azzzes kicked for the last year but geez. then the fake azz security guard in the last 2-3 seconds telling the Zona guy good job basically for fighting.

Now everyone knows why ASU is the class in that state.

oh and i love how the commentator (forget dudes name - reece davis?) is like "we are not going to show this type of behavior" or something like that when you know ESPN will show that clip a million times over the next week on Pti, sportsnations, around the horn, rome is burning, etc etc etc..

He wasn't naked initially. He ran on the field in a refs outfit - although the pants were high-waters - and after he got off camera he started stripping down. There IS an angle they were showing last night to show the start of the fight and you see the guy in the background taking off his pants and running around. But he's far enough in the background that he's out of focus.

I just watched it online on ESPN3, that was some funny shite how that dude blew the play dead, waved his arms and asked for the ball.

And Reece's comment was directed at the guy being naked because I'm sure the broadcast would have followed him had he not done something obscene.

Nah, I thought it was an unwritten-type of rule these days to not give streakers camera time (attention) anymore..?

I love how he runs out there barefooted and basically in tear-away capri pants.

Please go back to not following the Pac 12. UCLA is a bad team who was 2-1, not 2-0, coming into the game getting thrashed by Stanford and Texas and also lost to Houson. Their conference wins were against Wazzu and Oregon St.

It was pretty insane! I was sitting a few feet from the portal where the ref/streaker was taken out of Arizona Stadium in handcuffs. I have some video of that part. Not a pretty sight.

It was such a strange play, the ref blows the play dead. But I couldn't figure out why. Then this dude is ripping off his ref uniform and running around in a bright red undies or thong (I couldn't tell... my brain was caught in a "don't look at it... I can't look away" cycle).

Streaker is tackled nicely by a sherrif (or other cop, but I think a sherrif). Treated rather roughly. But not too bad.

I have no idea how the brawl started but all benches cleared. Presumably, some player took advantage of the distraction and shoved or punched an opponent. Given the score, one could presume that a frustrated UCLA player did the first bad deed, but really, that's 100% speculation.

I'll try to get the video up soon at: ThursdayToSaturday but I've gotta hit the road for El Paso now

I love this part of the article

The best part? Our man being slowly paraded in his skivvies in front of the halftime entertainment decked out in full 19th Century Mexican regalia. That's what I call fun for the whole family.

Awesome.
