I mentioned on here that Tulane should play more games at Tad Gormely but it wasn't taken very well.

I'm not sure why, but I've always hated when they played there. Then two years ago they lost like 44-7 there against Army and Bob Toledo made sure there were no more games there.

I'm guessing things like locker rooms, media space, etc?

I'm sure this is the case, but is certainly do able in the open end behind the track.

I'm not arguing, I'm asking.

I wish we could get an on campus stadium. It would do wonders for the program.

Hopefully the rumors about one are true.

There are rumors that one will be built where the current practice facility is.

That kind of product isn't worth anyone's time or money, at least not when there's no current hope of improvement.

What else can you do to try to send a message to the university aside from refuse to attend games? If ticket sales were high, then there would really be no incentive to change anything.

I was mostly kidding there, I'm sure you could find room if the administration really wanted to.

I'd probably go to some games if there was a stadium on campus.

I hear this all the time. But I have to much school pride to not go. No matter how shitty we are.

good crowds turned out though right? I would definitely go to their games if they played there. I know the sight lines are shitty there but the atmosphere would be so much better than the dome

:keege:

If they could pump like $30 mil into the Tad Pad, it would make a pretty decent stadium

Dickson claims nearly half the money for it is raised already if you go up and ask him about it. Just a matter of time.

Put a winning product on the field and people will show up. The school as a whole has maybe close to 100k living alumni, and I'd venture to guess only about 25k that actually still live in the area. Winning is the only thing that will win new people over.
