i agree that he could... the question is does he have the desire... what'd he say after the fight last night? "I'm goin eat", "I need a wopper", or something like that...

Like etm said, space was what kimbo needed...

When you try to tie a guy up from a bad position in the bottom, all you are doing is locking yourself in that position.

Furthermore, when you hug the head, the give him the opportunity to lock in that crucifix, or "lazy man," as I have always known it.

Matt Hughes is a killer with that position.

I always tell my guys I'm sparring or rolling with when they make that mistake, "you are never getting that arm back,"

and I will hold them there and do aggravating shite like constant little punches or mash his nose or crossface them so their chin nearly touches the ground while laying flat on their backs.

This until the round ends, they give me an even better position, or they escape.

But I drill that stuff in their heads so often I want to instill a hatred for being there, and a true sense of controlled panic when they get there.

There are few gamechanging positions in the fight game... That is universally one of them. You hit that, you can finish, or grind out an entire round using no energy, making the guy use tons of energy, and look dominant in judges eyes

Winning TUF 10 and succeeding at a high level are completely different.

He's got skills, but he gets beat by guys that have skills and are in any kind of shape that's not round.

He lost to Ben Rothwell (great fighter) in the early days of IFL, Rothwell left the IFL and then Nelson became the first ever champion. There Heavy's were awful and has never beaten anyone of note (I guess outside of Kimbo). He did fight beat Bo Cantrell who's claim to fame is losing to Kimbo.

And not that I'm internet tough guy... they all kick my arse, but they just aren't elite fighters.

Especially considering what we've seen in the fights thus far.
