Mon produced a massive upset and blowout.

Tuesday offerings:

CLE @ DET, 6pm NBCS
LAL @ OKC, 7:30pm NBC

Prepared for everyone to be against OKC. I’d even bet Kim Jong (Rocket Man) is rooting for Lakers

Some vintage Stef Curry

I don’t think the “us against the world” approach is applicable here. I’m willing to bet more people in America hate LeBron and the Lakers more than they do okc

CLE @ DET, 6pm NBCS
**Saw it last night in the Philly game... lack of rest coming out of the previous series. CLE/DET is a regional game and isn't far for travel, but the wear/tear of the previous series will show and I see DET winning this one at HOME (No travel), 10+.

LAL @ OKC, 7:30pm NBC
**I feel like similar to the HOU series, the Lakers will approach this series totally different than things they have shown. Schemes/rotations/executing will be huge for the Lakers as I think they will play more physical and be more aggressive than they have shown in previous matchups. Look for this one to look similar to the Spurs game last night, (not committing to a Lakers win), but the time off and all the OKC hype may bite them in GM1..

Our starters have played 4 games in 27 days. There will be rust. It seems like forever ago.

A week off to end the regular season due to having the #1 seed wrapped.

A week off after the season due to the play-in.

4 games in 1 week due to a 1st round sweep.

A week off between the 1st and 2nd round.

Correct. I honestly think most people don't even care nor know that OKC exists...

It's kind of one of those, "Oh yeah? cool..."

Does not really change the landscape or feelings of the sports world.

If they win, cool.

If they lose, cool.

Very mid vibes.

Crazy they are still putting games in this round on Peacock. You don’t even give yourself a chance to catch eyeballs from casual fans.

Cleveland is clicking right now and Toronto was sneaky good. Lots of weapons. Detroit was lucky to get past Orlando, they're not that good.

For all the posters who “don’t watch” the ratings are way up.

NBA Communications
@NBAPR

Game 7 of the 76ers/Celtics series on May 2 averaged 11 million viewers on NBC/Peacock – the most-watched first-round Game 7 ever and the most-watched first-round game in 27 years.

The first round of the NBA Playoffs was the most-viewed in 33 years, averaging 4 million viewers per game across ABC/ESPN, Amazon Prime Video and NBC/Peacock.

Lol he’s like a dumber, gayer, more annoying version of SteelerBarfDog.

Have you noticed how now he starts the daily NBA threads in the middle of the night so no one else can, but still fricks it up every time and has effectively killed poster callout season

You are welcome to start one. I do it at night because I don’t know if I’ll have service at work. But go ahead and start one its fine by me not as big a deal as you are making it to be.

There are some sensitive basketball fans here lol
