starting QB in the SEC. And lasting a whole season.

Exactly, it’s a fact he’s going to take some big hits and put his body to the test. The SEC west schedule
Is no joke, NFL talent will be coming at him hard every single Saturday

So if he gets picked like 22nd, isn’t that a good thing? Being a top 12 pick normally means you are going to be on a trash franchise.

I think it’s dumb if he returns, especially if he gets hurt again he might fall to a 3rd or 4th round guy next year.

Even if he goes back (which I doubt he will) I don’t see how he’s healthy enough to play.

I think he'd be way better off leaving now and hoping a team with an older QB takes him so he can recover and develop.

Or the injury is as bad as initially expected and he isn't going to pass NFL team physicals. Returning to Bama may give him the opportunity to heal up properly if he isn't already fricked

If it's that bad he should take the year off to rehab not rehab then play more before the NFL.

1st rd pick #32 is $10mil total contract with 5.4mil signing bonus.

No way he drops past that. Any money lost, he can make it back on his 2nd contract if he remains healthy.

not really. Gives you insight into what they expect from his health in the upcoming months.

He could get drafted by a team and spend year 1 on IR while he recovered.

That’s what happened with Willis McGehee after he destroyed his knee in the title game in about 2001.

At this point, I would question whether he is better off getting drafted a bit low but getting paid and having NFL quality rehab vs returning to Bama, hopefully healing up, and praying he doesn’t get hurt yet again.

Without knowing his draft grade, I would say “declare” because some team will spend a late 1st or a 2nd on him and let him bank some money while he recovers

It's Saban's fault he got hurt. Saban got outcoached by Ed Orgeron, so he had to run up the score to get Alabama back in the national title hunt. That's why Tua was playing well into a blowout against Mississippi State. Tua's nuts to risk his career like this.

Why? He's a walking injury report. What's he got left to give Saban? A knee? A shoulder? For what?

How much is Saban paying him to stay?

There isn’t much debate as of now.

Both can produce but Lawrence isn’t beat to shite.

Well people think both are overrated. So yeah, there would be a debate.
