I was a season ticket holder for the Rangers for more than a decade. I’ve done more than my fair share watching this beyond terrible franchise in person over that time.

Regardless, what does that mean? You'll cancel your season tickets?

You have enough star power from players who've said they would still play. Plus we would see some of these guys in the minors. Yeah it would suck not seeing Trout or Kershaw but if that mean Jo Adell starting in the majors or one of the Dodgers pitching prospects.

if it means not having to watch Kershaw implode in another playoff series, I'm all for it.

MLB has gone on strike before...why didn't that stop you?

I mean I already downgraded because of the new stadium and the prices lol, but no. I would still attend games, but I’d voice my displeasure with a sign.

I’ve done it multiple times before.

What if someone like ESPN put some resources toward testing enough production guys, camera crew, etc, and then put together a few teams made up of MLB and MILB free agents that volunteer to be in quarantine and broadcast like 4 games a week from a neutral site with no fans?

The quality of play would be bad for a bit, but people would tune in.

Everyone involved would kind of have to know that they would be the experiment that MLB would be looking at to see how feasible anything is, and be okay with assuming that risk.

But I think it could be cool.

The MSB, where pro athletes arent human beings with human feelings and concerns, but circus animals meant to keep us entertained and damn any of them who forget that

Oh lord.

Essentially, you won't do anything different other than make a sign.

These athletes need to realize they are replaceable.

Except Mike Trout isn't replaceable. Guys like Trout, LeBron, Mahomes, they make the money they do because no one else can do what they do on the field/court.

Minor leaguers jerseys aren't selling like Mike Trout's jersey. Minor leaguers can't hit the curve like Trout can.

Having extraordinary skills makes you valuable. It's capitalism. It also doesn't mean that Trout doesn't have other things, like family, that he cares about. It's not a bad thing to care about your pregnant wife.

frick if I know. You said you wouldn't support them ever again. I'm curious how you're supporting them now and what you'd do different.

Answer: nothing.

They are playing in Asia already, we should be playing here. This is the perfect opportunity to mic up players, be innovative, expand the game
