He shouldn’t be but it’s apparent that the courts no longer seem to recognize the ncaa as the authority over college athletics. It pisses me off thst the courts are forcing the legislature to get involved.

Anything goes at this point

What laws are the state courts applying to justify original ruling?

While law school doesn’t usually generate the same level of fan allegiance, all but one of the justices attended Ole Miss in some capacity.

Terrible precedent BUT I’m glad OM won’t have any excuses when Kiffin absolutely bends them over in Oxford.

It looks like you have 4 years to START now thanks to Mississippi.

It won't be long until you have a 30 year old still playing college football because he didn't start fro 12 years, but just played sparingly.

Still don’t understand how local courts have jurisdiction in NCAA eligibility rules.
What’s stopping the NCAA from filing in every state that Ole Miss plays a road game in this year? Or just declaring they will only apply the court’s ruling to games played in Mississippi

So he’s eligible to play games in Mississippi, but he’s ineligible for every game in another state. Mississippi state courts have no jurisdiction out of state.

Again. The NCAA just needs to prohibit him from the playoffs and refuse to recognize any wins in games he plays in. The problem is they have turned an eye in regards to football for so long, they don't have any power.

That is my point. Their refusal to acknowledge the post season in football is the problem.
